The Boy Least Likely To live listening party on SWAY

Tune In

Fresh off the release of their new single, Get Into The Summer, cult indie legends The Boy Least Likely To will feature on SWAY this Friday afternoon for a one-off live listening party.

The band will be sharing some of their favourite music on our platform with a focus on music that inspired the new record.

Having been active for nearly twenty years now, band members Peter Hobbs and Jof Owen met when they were still at school. They grew up together in the small Buckinghamshire village of Wendover, in the middle of the English countryside.

They released their debut album, The Best Party Ever, in 2005 to widespread critical acclaim, and have gone on to release 5 albums since then.

Talking about the new single, singer Jof Owen explains:: "We actually wrote the music and the chorus for this song years ago, before The Best Party Ever came out, but it just never seemed to be the right time for it. Then last January and February as people began to talk hopefully about the world opening up again, the words in the chorus kept coming back to me, and the rest of it came really quickly. It felt like everyone was just bursting to get outside and enjoy themselves this Summer - and it felt like the song was bursting to get out too!"

We’re really excited to feature Jof and Peter on SWAY for a one-off listening party.

Be sure to tune in this Friday July 23rd, at 4-5pm BST. If you haven't downloaded the SWAY trial version yet, visit our homepage here for a quick and easy free DL.

Catch you then!
